WOLFGANG LOESCHE
The talented artist Wolfgang Loesche, born in 1947, dedicated himself to Disney's Donald Duck after completing his training at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences. For over 40 years, he has brought the iconic character to life in a variety of variations, projecting everyday human emotions onto him.
His vibrant paintings featuring Donald Duck showcase everyday life, portraying Donald as a model human being. Loesche's compositions are narrative and anecdotal, often complemented by ironic titles and lettering. He lends his acrylic paintings and hand drawings incredible expressiveness.
Loesche skillfully varies motifs and masterfully plays with Donald's facial expressions to convey emotions. His style is reminiscent of Pop Art and demonstrates his ability to convey human moods to the comic character. Wolfgang Loesche's work is distinguished by his attention to detail and his creative portrayal of human emotions through Donald Duck.
