Maximilian Delius
Maximilian Delius, a fascinating artist, was born in 1958 in Kobaky, Ukraine, and discovered his passion for art at an early age. He studied at the University of Lviv and made a name for himself from 1989 onwards with his impressive ceramics and wooden sculptures, which require great craftsmanship.
Delius later devoted himself to the use of bronze, creating fine, detailed representations of the human body. Inspired by Alexander Archipenko, he focuses on the human body and its interaction in space.
His nude studies are evidence of intensive study and sensitivity. Delius' works show the dynamics and psyche of the human body through sweeping lines and harmonious proportions. He is particularly interested in depicting naked women, combining eroticism and tenderness and leaving room for the viewer's imagination.
Inspired by ancient Greece, Delius succeeds in creating exciting depictions of human figures that exude elegance and sensuality. His masterful bronze sculptures are sought-after collector's items in limited editions. Delius' ability to translate his empathy for the human psyche into three-dimensional works of art makes him an outstanding artist.
