Done (Volker Kühn)
"Geschafft" (Finished) by Volker Kühn celebrates the moment of success and relief after hard work. The miniature scene visualizes triumph over challenges – an inspiring work of art for every situation in life.
Volker Kühn's miniature worlds depict life in all its facets. He explores virtually every aspect of his work. He portrays interpersonal relationships, the minor and major catastrophes of everyday life, and wordplay with wit and humor, while also capturing and reinterpreting the diversity of art.
Volker Kühn loves the clarity of form in Mondrian and Malevich, but also the action paintings of Jackson Pollock and the color temperament of Sam Francis. He appreciates the reduced objects of Brancusi and is fascinated by the blue of Yves Klein.
He creates small stages with a great attention to detail. His inexhaustible wealth of ideas is fueled by his sensitive powers of observation and zest for life.
